![]() ![]() The survivors, now rescue operatives, loaded onto the UES Safe Travels and set off for Petrichor V. The Miner had gone insane, and was now a wanted serial killer. The Sniper simply denied the job, and was far too dangerous to be reasoned with. He had no intent of turning himself into the military, and the last thing he wanted was to return to that planet. The two robots had gone off the grid, hidden by people who wanted to preserve them, knowing that if they were found they would be dismantled. The other survivors of the planet from the last game couldn’t be found. Before they left, the high council, interested in the possibility that this mysterious planet could be heaven, sent an ARTIFICER with them. Finally, they found one of the old CAPTAINS of the long gone colonial ships, and gave him his first new assignment in years. After that was the MERCENARY, who had done some work for the military in the past. Next, they found the ENGINEER, and they commissioned a MUL-T unit to help maintain the ship. The HUNTRESS was found next, now a legendary bounty hunter, looking for a challenging hunt. ![]() The COMMANDO, who was the first person they found, as he was a member of the military anyway. The planet is recognized, and the military rounds up as many survivors of the planet as they could find. Years later, a distress beacon is sent out, originating from Petrichor V. The Enforcer stayed to help the remaining crew at rallypoint delta, and Acrid because he was free on his own planet now). They’re able to get enough of the ship up and running to return to their home. Here, they are confronted by Providence and his Wurms, and the survivors emerge victorious. The survivors make their way through the planet, encountering many strange creatures and landscapes that shouldn’t be able to coexist, until they find their way back to the wreckage of the ship that took them to Petrichor V. The ship went down, and crashed upon Petrichor V, with it’s cargo landing all around the planet. As the Contact Light passed over Petrichor V, which wasn’t on any maps, the teleporter suddenly activated, and several unknown creatures, as well as Providence, teleported on board the Contact Light. There was also a creature named ACRID, who was found on Petrichor V, and was being transported for research. The stowaways consisted of a BANDIT, who planned to make off with the ship’s cargo once it docked, a HUNTRESS, in search of an elusive target, and a SNIPER, with a story similar to the Huntress’s. The crew consisted of a robotic CHEF, a small engineering team made of an ENGINEER and a HAN-D unit, a LOADER, presumably to help with moving the numerous crates around, an ENFORCER, a MERCENARY, and a COMMANDO, who made up the security team, a MINER, presumably coming with his equipment to some off-planet mine, and several other unnamed crew members. We now arrive at the events of Risk of Rain 1, in which the teleporter is loaded onto a cargo ship called the U.E.S Contact Light, along with a number of other items, a crew, and a couple stowaways. The humans took an odd structure with strange properties for research, and left. It contains many strange relics and ruins, and eventually it was discovered by humans. It was created by two brothers, Providence and Mithrix. This planet is not on any maps, and this is because it was not created naturally. "Now we've got to see how we can make the other parts of the building safe enough to be occupied while we work on what needs to happen here," explained Jerry Batista. The story starts with a planet called Petrichor V. On Peace Street, there is a lot more work to be done. "It's a tradition that a lot of people care about," said freshman Jack Budofsky. "The staff arrived here this morning, about 7 o'clock, to find about 20 inches of water in the building," said Rhode Island Department of Revenue spokesman Paul Grimaldi.Īt Brown University, first-year students who just moved into dorms off the Keeney Quad are now drying out after water seeped into their building's first floor.Īll the rain postponed the university's Opening Convocation exercises until Saturday.
